WEEK 8 - New Copy for Blood Donation Campaign
Headline: Give Blood, Save A Life!
Body Copy:
TARUC is organizing blood donation campaign on 1st December 2017 at Sunway Pyramid Ground Floor, Blue Zone, from 10 am to 8 pm.
Objectives:
- We hope to raise public awareness towards the life-saving efforts of donating blood.
- To promote greater awareness about health condition among Malaysians.
The TARUC Blood Donation is educating the public about the importance of blood donating We hope more volunteers come to donate their blood to people who needed. We managed to inspire individuals to participate in this act of life-saving.
Before you decided to donate blood, please check the lists below:
- Above 18-65 years old
- Have taken a full meal within 2 hours before donating
- More than 45kg
- Have no medical condition
- Have more than 6 hours of sleep
- Females must 3 days after your period is over and 3 weeks after your HPV injection
Welcome everyone to join the blood donation. We truly believe that if all of us donate some blood together, it can save many people’s life. Please do not hesitate, let’s all of us do it together to save others life!

The headline for this campaign ad is not as effective. According to Mentis (2017), five times as many people read the headlines as read the body copy, on average. As you have written a good headline for your ad, you have spent eighty cents out of your dollar. What I suggest the headline to be is "With Every Bottle, A Life Is Saved". The call to action is good as a link is set, which encourages them to take action.
